How Aqueous Cleaning Works
Benefits Of Aqueous Cleaning

WHY USE CELCO FOR CLEANING/DEGREASING

Central Electropolishing Co. is a highly regarded company in the field of Electropolishing, Passivation and Cleaning for Oxygen Service for over 20 years. Due to the demand for cleaning components for industries requiring high purity processes, CELCO has designed and built an automated cleaning/degreasing machine that achieves a higher quality cleaning of parts in a consistent, efficient manner. The machine can clean most any material including plastics. Components up to 24" wide and 12" high can be loaded onto the conveyor system and into the self-contained cleaning system.

BENEFITS OF THE AUTOMATED CLEANING SYSTEM

 Less handling means less damage.
 Maximum cleanliness.
 Rapid turn around.
 Filtered cleaning solution.
Ability to clean most any material including plastics.
Ability to clean large quantities of parts.

HOW THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM WORKS

The parts are loaded into the system via a conveyor. As the parts enter they immediately start the cleaning process. The usage of timed controls assures a thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and dried component. This system reduces handling time, which reduces cost and turn around times. And the less an item is handled and manipulated; the less damage can occur.

This new machine utilizes a hot wash process, which can incorporate most any detergent or cleaning solution. This allows our process to meet most any cleaning specification, upon review. The machine is equipped with a high pressure washing system that washes from both the top and the bottom. This provides a level of cleanliness that is sure to meet and/or exceed most current industry standards. The cleaning solution is constantly being filtered through a 2-micron filtering system. The cleaner the solution, the cleaner the parts.

After the parts are degreased, the heated rinse cycle begins. The rinsing process may be performed with hot potable water or hot deionized water, whichever the customer prefers. The system dries the parts using high flow hot air knives. As the parts pass through the drying stage, the components themselves are heated, which allows the part to dry completely via evaporation.

After items complete the process they are ready to be packaged. The parts are bagged directly from the degreasing machine.
