WHY USE CELCO FOR PRECISION CLEANING FOR OXYGEN SERVICE?
CELCO has the proper environment, knowledge and necessary equipment to achieve the results required, to produce a safe, clean component for use in Oxygen Service. CELCO is a regulatory control company. Each job is given a traveler upon arrival, which follows the component until the job is completed and shipped to the customer. We CERTIFY that your component is Clean For Oxygen Service. The most commonly used spec in industry is CGA G-4.1. We have the capability to clean most any size, shape or quantity to any spec that meets or exceeds the high standard of CGA G –4.1. We have cleaned parts to many specs provided to us by customers, these include, MIL-STD-1359B, GET-015 Rev.2, OHMEDA 1202-0520-000, BPS-0-100, BAC 5402, BAC 5408, CONCOA DS-1000 and PRAXAIR Class 2. At CELCO Oxygen Cleaned parts are double bagged and each bag is labeled Cleaned for Oxygen Service, listing the Spec and any other requirements to meet the labeling needs of our customers. CELCO has High Purity Nitrogen Purge Packaging available to our customers upon request.

What is PRECISION CLEANING FOR OXYGEN SERVICE?
Cleaning for Oxygen Service is best defined as the removal of combustible contaminates from the surface of any equipment or system in oxygen service, including all parts that make up those components. These contaminates include, but are not limited to, organic and inorganic substances such as hydrocarbon material i.e. oils and greases, paper, fiber, coal dust, solvents, weld slag, rust, sand and dirt. If these contaminates are not removed properly a combustion reaction in an oxygen atmosphere or unacceptable product purity are the result.

Q: How are the parts tested?

A: There are several test methods available at CELCO, Direct Visual Inspection using ultraviolet light, Water Break Test and Solvent Extraction Test.


Q: How long does the Cleaning for Oxygen Service last?

A: The component will be certified cleaned for Oxygen Service as long as it is stored in the unopened package in a clean environment.


Q: Can Cleaning for Oxygen Service be done onsite?

A: ABSOLUTELY. CELCO has a Mobile Unit, which enables us to clean entire systems onsite.
