Passivation is a cost-effective way to prevent corrosion and rusting on your Stainless Steel Vessels. CELCO offers Nitric Acid Passivation as well as Citric Acid Passivation. Nitric Passivation is the most common, however, many specifications for Passivation in Industry require Citric Passivation. Passivation creates an oxide layer that protects the surface and leaves a clean, matte, uniform appearance. To further enhance your product you may choose Pickle/Passivation. Pickle/Passivation will remove heat treat discoloring, scale and weld burn. CELCO has the ability to provide Passivation Services to most any Specification. The most common Specifications we certify too are, ASTM-A380 and ASTM-A967.

CELCO offers Mobile Services to our customers when the equipment is too large to transport easily or is already in place. CELCO tests and certifies all Passivation whether the service is performed in our shop or on your site.
